1. This has nothing to do with Islam.
2. The guy was a mentally ill 'lone wolf'.
3. Those who object to points 1 and 2 are racists.
4. Change your Facebook profile photo to include the flag of the targeted country.
5. Light some candles, hold a vigil and go on a peace march.
6. Wait for the next snackbar to happen.

Thumbs Up

Yup, pretty much sums it up! I do hate the automatic assumption of mentally ill!!!

Speculation / hysteria / nonsense surrounding points 1 & 2 will make tomorrows headlines unwatchable.

Points 4 & 5 will make tomorrows social media insufferable with sanctimonious status/tweets and flags pictures etc.

Rage-rating because if we start a new thread for every visit to Alan's Snackbar, we might as well create a whole new section called #ntdwi for them.

Well, you're either with Adam Aarons or with The Terrorists.

Susie Fuller is in ISIS.

The $60k donation / investment received recently by The Aarons is being used to fund snackbar terrorism.

MI5 and GCHQ are going to be catching up with him soon. Thumbs Up

I think attacks on this scale deserve a topic, a little worse than someone going stabby stabby on a few people.

They didn't bomb Iron Maiden 2 weeks earlier, because even terrorists have taste.

Besides everyone would have run to the hills.

too soon?

Anyone who follows any religion, to any degree, is mentally ill, IMO.

Somewhat of a valid point to be fair.

I don't have an issue with people believing in god (bit mental but whatever), I see that as a personal choice. I have a problem with religion, as its sole purpose's to divide (and control) people.

There's a difference between a religion that says, don't do this, don't do that and go to place of worship on xxxday, and one that proclaims, "Kill unbelievers".

One is an acceptable oddity, little different than worshiping motorcycles, harmful no no one else other than yourself. The other is radicalised and is a danger to society as a whole.

When a high percentage of the alleged moderate believers are willing to accept, justify or support the actions of the radical branch of their religion in private, while claiming this is nothing to do with their religion in public, then you have a major problem.

This problem is exacerbated by a large number of the non-believing native populace who will make any and every excuse possible to avoid confronting the real problem, in order to make themselves feel better, and relieve themselves of any feelings of guilt, due to paranoia over claims of xenophobia.
