100mpg on the YBR, not sure on the Enf as I've not finished playing around with the carb/timing - last tank was 57mpg. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

Get about 48mpg on the K100 looking for a new smaller bike soon for commuting only with good mpg. Not sure what to go for at the moment.
On my bike do have a large air leak waiting on parts to sort that out so could be better. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Worst 36 mpg best 47 mpg, average over last 1800 miles 43 mpg FJR 1300, very little of that motorway, I'm happy with that, was averaging 36mpg on my CB1000R with PCV/Autotune/Yoshi R77 ¾ and speeds, roads and conditions similar, FJR probably faster in places and much of that two up.
Suffice to say would hardly pass a petrol station with the Honda (18l tank) now I fly by them (25.5l tank)
Ive known some to get near 60mpg on the FJR, but they must be my granny. |

As pointed out by Roger, the figure is meaningless.
My '94 ZZR1100 returned very nearly 50mpg on a week long tour, two's up with well packed panniers and top box.
It also treated me to 15mpg for a couple or three tankfuls on several occasions when I might have engaged WOT for a while!!
I liked to aim for 35mpg, which could be reasonably spirited riding but keeping it under 6K rpm. ____________________ Make mine a Corona. |

I am getting about 50mpg on the FZ6 which is about the same as I got on the GS500 but much more fun.
I have been looking at CB1000r's lately which looks like it would end up costing me another £8-10 a week in fuel. This part isn't the problem its just the having to stop to fill the thing that annoys me. Currently I am having to fill up twice a week but with the CB this would be every other day looking at reported tank ranges . ____________________ "no I didn't steal it that's just the way I ride" |

I was getting 47mpg on the FZ6, mostly short commutes and the odd bit of DCW.
On the SV it's up into the higher 50's because on the commutes I ride it like a Diesel car, don't think I go above 5k rpm most days due to traffic, rain and rubbish surfaces, but having said that the ride is pretty constant with few traffic lights, so I can just chug along at 3k rpm.
My old Bandit had something wrong with it, and was getting 18mpg. ____________________ Current: 2009 SV650 S, 1990 Kawasaki GT550

45 / 46 mpg from my 99 ZX6R. Would probably get a lot higher if I rode it sensibly... |

On my '15 Tracer I am getting around 55mpg which is more than enough to not have to panic when touring about where the next fuel station is |
