Just stumbled across this nifty looking mod this guy makes.

Can't see any reason why that's a bad idea? Especially the wide angle on the camera, gives you a better view actually and no blind spot.

What do you think?

UK MOT requires an wing mirror IIRC so would need 3 wing mirrors on bike. Looks a neat idea though.

Looks pretty niffy but damn, those mirrors are like house bricks and I'm not particularly sure why but having your GPS in the left mirror can't be the most convenient place, can it? Laughing

Would love you to find the source of that somewhere...

Adam?

Edit: thought that was a bit harsh....

Ok, technically brilliant. Very well implemented and gimmicky. 👍 Those satnavs are not cheap though. I've got one. I like swapping it from one bike to another. This removes that option.

Also sun glare.

Also would take a while to re-adjust to looking right ..... to see what's on your left.

Also - (imo) - looks shit.

Also - clip a mirror - fucking expensive.

Also - nah that's enough for now.....

But I wouldn't ride without them personally

Wouldn't mind having something like that down in the dash area. Mirrors are quite useful in London so don't want to get rid of them, but filtering would become easier in some places without mirrors.

IMO if you ride fast enough you don't need mirrors.

That is called advanced riding and making positive progress Laughing

^^ I rode around for nearly a year with no mirrors on the ZX10R and it was fine... the only thing I had to constantly look out for was if I wanted to pop a wheelie and if the police were behind me Laughing

I do prefer having mirrors though, as much as it pleases me aesthetically with none.

I'd be concerned about having your wing mirrors and sat nav stolen whenever you leave it somewhere around people. Too risky.
