Had a skateboard, was shit at it. Had a BMX...oh no, wait. I had a fucking Grifter, made of cast iron. Yoyos were just a bit, well, gay. Definitely no electric guitar, I only make sweet music in the bedroom (Waaaaay)

What I DID have though was uncle with an RD400. Mispent youth? No, definitely not.

It was second hand, it was wank. All my mates had BMX's, you try taking a home made ramp on with something that weighs (and handles) the same as a Tiger tank. Fucking thing assploded the ramp as soon as it hit it.

I had a Grifter too and you've just brought back forgotten memories of assploding ramps. Thumbs Up Laughing

I know someone that asked his parents for a Raleigh Chopper for Christmas one year and was misheard.

Imagine unwrapping this and what ensued the first and every time your mates saw you on it

Must have been the Bomber.
I remember my Burner wasn't the lightest BMX but the Bomber really was a great heavy lump of rubbish.

Anyway, back on track, I couldn't resist 'tuning' my spinner a bit.
Managed to acquire a better central bearing and replaced the LED units with some more bearings for weight.
Much smoother and spins far longer.

I know, bit sad.

It was the Bomber, my mate Richard from Stourbridge who I only ever saw when on holiday in Brean had one.
He could do much better skids than me in the gravel carpark on our caravan site. Crying or Very sad Of my three pushbikes
currently my (authentic) Dutchie 3 speed has back pedal brakes.

I deliberately fitted a coaster brake to my Puch road bike for more progressive riding and clean handlebar lines.

How long is a piece of string?
So many out there, mine was about four quid for the spinner iirc and another couple of quid for better bearings.
