Hey guys,
Sooo I'm getting my lip pierced really soon and since my bike is my transport I was wondering if I could put on my helmet straight after piercing it, like would it damage my piercing or will it be okay?

Same reason I pierced my ear and got a tattoo....vanity & stupidity.

OP. You'll be fine until you have a crash and the paramedics try to remove your helmet and rip the lips off your face. Razz

I'm pretty happy with piercings Very Happy got a belly ring, nose ring (which is going soon), 3 earrings on both sides and a cartilage piercing. Only issue is I got all those like a year before my bike so they're well healed

My mate rode his bike home after his vasectomy, I think a "soul eater" should be able to handle a sore lip.

My lip piercing doesn't go anywhere near any solid bits of helmet so you'll be fine unless you put your helmet on like a spastic Thumbs Up

I should think with a lip piercing you'll be getting more than your share of helmets near it.

He should do it, so he knows just how pointless and silly it is.

You can't tell people it's pointless and silly. They have to learn for themselves.
