Lip Piercing + Helmet

Hey guys,
Sooo I'm getting my lip pierced really soon and since my bike is my transport I was wondering if I could put on my helmet straight after piercing it, like would it damage my piercing or will it be okay?

My lip piercing doesn't go anywhere near any solid bits of helmet so you'll be fine unless you put your helmet on like a spastic
