Hi everyone,

So havent ridden my current bike for a year or so. Kind of got fed up with naked bikes, working too much and it needed an MOT, service etc....

Went to see a friend at the weekend and rode his Fazer6. Needles to say the bug bit me!!

Have always wanted a Gixer but couldnt insure one in the past, had a quick look and i can now. So went to have a look at a couple last night and the purchase was made. I will take delivery of my new toy on saturday morning Very Happy Heres a couple of pictures of old and new. The GSR had a lot of work done when i bought it new and will be sad to see it go as i have put a lot into making it a one off and had some great times. But the new one....... CANT WAIT!!!!

I got it from Ryder Automotive in Newington near Sittingbourne but i live near Maidstone. Always up for a ride out. Was actually thinking about possibly doing Rye on Sunday morning. However im not sure of my plans on saturday yet, if they include beer then probably not lol. Where abouts in Kent are you?

Fellas, fellas, this is a disconcertingly welcoming thread, it's unnerving, someone insult somebody so I can feel right again.

Welcome Exile (you know that name isn't far off where you just arrived)

Ok!

Riding, or in fact merely owning, a 'gixxer' guarantees you'll catch the ghey which, more than likely, guarantees the bad aids, FACT! Wink

So there!

Thanks everyone, good looking bikes guys! Sorry should have said yes its the 600.

Was going to go for a new one but hate the new colour schemes. Glad to see a bit of banter im sure il fit in. Would definitely be up for a gixxer meet at some point. Work is a bit erratic so can be hard for me to organise things. Am off Sunday and next weekend though. Something tells me anything this sunday would have to be in the evening lol.

The name actually comes from my old american football team Wink started being my user name for things back then and is just easy to remember now. Will get some more pics up when i get it.

How do i actually get on the South East group?

Also Tun Wells has one of the best beer shops in the South East so im there a fair bit Smile

Many a Sunday morning rideout heads for Rye Thumbs Up Cool

It is usually quite crowded by about 12 o'clock

https://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv23/WiNot_Rhencullen/Bikes/20170409_124307_zpsyju6lmjc.jpg

There is also Wessons cafe at Horam via the twisties

https://i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv23/WiNot_Rhencullen/Bikes/20160403_130420_zpsthkg7otc.jpg

Rykas cafe near Box Hill can be fun,but not via the A25 as there are far too many speed limits and double white lines to make it a fun route
