Well, it seems this forum has a bit of a softer side after UnknownStuntman's post about his furry friend.

At the same time, we are a eclectic bunch, so I imagine we have pets in all shapes and sizes, so I thought would be interesting to share some pictures of our furry / slimy / scaly / feathery friends.

My other half is a self confessed "mad cat lady", we currently have 4 of the feline critters living with us, but at it's peak we had 9 around this time last year when one of our adopted cats turned out to have several buns in her oven, they were all re-homed but one (which we decided to keep) but sadly he had a congenital heart defect and past away after only a month, RIP Thor

Many years ago, when a member of a certain club, I went everywhere with my dogs. Kat and Babycham (no, I didn't name them honest )

Kat was the dog, all bark and a scardy kat , Babycham was the bitch, all teeth and absolutely no messing about if she didn't like someone/thing.

Both long long gone but I had fun going all over the country with them on my trike.

My present dog, Brodie. RSPCA rescue and the soppiest hound you could ever want. He's 12 now and finds life a bit of a struggle except that the vet has put him on Tramadol, he's quite a happy chap when that kicks in.

He is extremely affectionate and a killer of dandelions He follows you everywhere in case he misses anything (mainly food), it's like being followed by a piglet the way he snorts on.

I would post a picture of my previous pets, but due to a court order, since I was a kid, mine have had to be imaginary/invisible..... only problem with my current restriction is I keep letting them out to go to the toilet and they never come back

The ones that I imagine are too small to let out still aren't touching the food I put down for them daily..... I don't know what I'm doing wrong




Currently I have some pet germs and a petri dish with only a couple (of million) bacteria calling me "daddy".... not sure about the bacteria though, they seem quite aggressive if I'm honest, they're reproducing faster than junkies, dole scroungers, Africans..... "friendly" bacteria


On a serious note, I've thought about getting a dog, but since I'm out for around 13-14 hours per day I wouldn't torture a dog being alone that long (same with a cat).... I have thought about a fish tank.... but haven't got a clue about fish and the amount of gear required

It still hurts too much.

I'm quite annoyed I never got round to getting a picture of Bruno with Bonnie or Ghostie He loved them both
