Why don't insurers tell these people to do one?

Covered before, the costs of investigating low level fraud are about the same as paying out. Claims in the £2K - £3K range are the sweet spot where it's literally not worth their time (rather their salaries) to contest it.

Given the situation, I think I'd be on to my insurer and telling them - not asking, not suggesting - that this is fraudulent, that there's nothing to indemnify, and that if they pay out so much as a penny then they'll be correcting the CUE database and also be paying my increased insurance costs for the next 5 years.

2 whiplash claims (2-3k each) plus car repairs. Anyway fraud's fraud, it's because people know they can get away with it that it goes on.

Assume insurance are now aware of someone attempting fraud yeah? As per borgy mcborgerson, I'd not want to be out of pocket, unless you did actually dink the car and now they going all pork ball on you Laughing

I'd assume not.

I warned you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you knew it all, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little claim, isn't it? Well, it's always the same. I always tell them--

I'd say you need to decide on your story. Depends on CCTV (I'm guessing there isn't any?) and what the witness says, also what their motivation's to take sides, unless you have an immigrants are scum bumper sticker Wink

You're not even convinced there was any contact as there's no damage to suggest that there was. Wink

Don't really understand how you don't know if you hit them. I've been nudged a couple of times (whilst stationary) at very low speed and it's noticeable.

Sounds to me like he did hit the poor Nepalese gentleman's car and is now trying to absolve himself of responsibility. Thinking

Parking sensors, another reason not to learn how to drive properly.

I can't have hit anyone, I have parking senors, parking assist and a blow up doll autopilot. Thumbs Up

I've got parking sensors but ignored them as I thought they were imagining something today, and I thought I knew best. Backed in to a big fat solid steel pole in the middle of the rear of the parking space (about a foot from the damn curb). Completely invisible in every mirror.

Anyway, point is it caused such a thud and wallop I thought I caused some decent damage - not even a scratch.

I've also had people nudge me when parking and one who rolled in to the back of me in traffic whilst he was adjusting his radio (when the car was 1.5 days old...) and always felt it and never caused any marks.

It's an Octavia estate, so not anything small.

Said it before, but I think car/bike/van insurance should be exempt from paying out personal injury claims, loss of limbs, loss of income and all the rest of it.

The premium should be to cover the value of the vehicles, repairs and replacement.

And why do you have to be nice to the obviously poor innocent and victimised immigrant? A spot of fuck off off home you scrounging yellow twat would never hurt.

Fuck me one day someone will stick up for the British citizen, which century this happens remains to be seen?

So you get wiped out at 60mph on your bike by a car. And you wouldn't want your income covered?

If it was a decent British citizen, they would.

Hence why bnp72 gets all the sympathy of a baklyf who just got SMIDY'ed by an artic @ 56mph.

And so did the Coldstream guards but it doesn't make every British person a hero either.
