Cast your mind back to Sept 2015.

Oh what fun it was, all those crazy kippers and the true blue, fun loving, Tories, stumping up their £3 to join the Labour party to vote the, ‘unelectable’, Corbyn in as Labour leader.
What a jolly jape it was, how they laughed at their political master stroke, how they sneered at the prospect of Corbyn ever being in the running for PM, or in fact having any political influence at all.

Sauce

So where are that bunch of smug fcukers now?
Are they still sneering on the sidelines, thumping their chests whilst marvelling at their own self importance?
Not quite so funny now, for that bunch of political dumbfuks!
“Karma’s a right bitch” and "schadenfreude's" on the specials board today!

Oh, and in case selective memory loss becomes contagious, let us not forget:-

Labours last minute unicorn -> (free uni and pay back kids who have started) bought them a lot of the kiddie votes.

It's a f*cking disgrace if you ask me.
Plying the votes from kids who don't remember or care about labours last Abso-f*cken Train wreck which such highlights as "Sell all the gold when you're told explicitly NOT to!" and "PFI FTW to cripple NHS trusts for decades to come" because lets face it, the Corbynister still looks like a boarder line Uni dropout (is about as coherent) and is courting 'hip rappers' yadda yadda yadda.

Politics is no longer about anything of substance, it's about parties who are good at winning votes winning votes and bollocks to the rest of it (last few years of manifesto U-Tern bonanzas!).

If labour got in I'd be making that move to Australia a lot sooner Rolling Eyes

I've been resigned to non-Brexit since Gove suicide-bombed Boris and Sharia stepped over their corpses for a win by default. We're not getting Brexit anyway, so I'm just here for the lulz.

The comfort is that Sharia would have been handing the keys to Number 10 to pretty much any Blairite leader today. Thank Corbyn for small mercies.

I know progressives are more into feels than arithmetic, but by my calculation, Labour + SNP + LimpDem + Plaid Commie + Greens still comes out to fewer MPs than the Tories, so what's all the celebrating about? Eh?

If Sharia goes, I'll pop my cork too, mind.

Where are they now?

Well I know where one of them, the ring leader in fact, wasn't.

Apparently, upon seeing the exit poll results predicting a hung parliament, political puppet master Rupert Murdoch, promptly stomped out of the Times election party!

I'd have paid money to see that old bastard's rage face!

You know Labour lost as badly as Gordon Brown did in 2010 right?

Corbyn in leadership of the labour party means its going to be tory rule for at least the next 10 years, that seems to be what the objective of the tories for corbyn idea was....

How does it feel to come second? Razz

The one I voted for came 3rd but kept his deposit, which was what I wanted.

How does it feel to have a 100% seat loss rate?

Clutching at straws, much!

Not working out so far then, as we appear to have a hung parliament!
When does the 10 years start?

The arrogance of 2 successive Tory leaders has dropped the country in the shit, all we need now for the complete comedy set is, foot in mouth specialist, BOJO for PM, we'll then be a close 2nd place in the Worldwide Humiliation League behind the orange oaf in the USA, way to go UK!

For the record I don't want Corbyn as PM nor Labour to be in power.
I do however enjoy it when when the best laid plans of smug right whingers go so spectacularly wrong!

Anyway at least we don't have terrorist sympathiser Corbyn in charge, but on the other hand the 'government', if you can call it that, will be relying on a bunch of terrorist sympathisers to push through legislation, fcukin' marvellous! Rolling Eyes

Not really sure why, this is what the people voted for, are you suggesting people don't get a vote incase they make the wrong choice?

Anti-democracy is practically the raison d'être of the EU, so sure, why not? Strong and stable dictatorships all round.

CMD called a referendum, to appease his party, he was sure he knew what the result was going to be, turns out he was wrong and ran away as soon as he could.
May, only PM by default, assumed all that was needed was to turn up, ran the worst election campaign in living memory, cocksure that the blue rinse brigade would re-elect the tories, forgetting that her manifesto pissed most of them off!
The UK now has a lame duck PM who's, promptly lost her majority in the house and has to rely on a bunch of religious whack jobs and terrorist sympathisers to prop up the vote, ballsed up any negotiating position she thought she had in the brexit negotiations and she'll be replaced once the Bullingdon club get their knives and pointy hoods out!

I'm failing to see the win in any of it!

The lulz are the win.

What's inherently wrong with asking the proles what we want though?

I haven't suggested there's anything wrong with asking the proles!

What I'm saying is we've had two successive PM's, who should have known better, they didn't, the UK is now rudderless and drifting!

I'm also saying that I hope that the rabid right loons who helped put Corbyn in place know what a bunch of wankers they really are!

HTH!

The referendum was called because it was an election manifesto pledge, to pull over Ukipers that have now gone back to labour

Corbyn on for another 5 years and Scottish nationalism has died a death with no loss to the majority effectively, seems like a decent result to me.

Unfortunately the saying 'pig in a red rosette' is applicable where I live, and carried out both at national and local elections. Therefore I voted for the one who pisses the labour councillors off the most at national (independent in this case) and the conservatives at local level because of the work they do for the ward.
