Hello all

The new bike is a gsx650 '09 and the previous owner has filled in the stock mounting holes for indicators and instead bought a fairly shite pair of after markets built into the rear of the mirrors, either side of the windshield mounting points.

They're shite for 2 reasons:
1) The stems are too short so I either get a cracking view of my elbows or of the passing pavements, almost no good coverage of what's actually behind me

2) They're cheap, so vibrate terribly, move constantly in the wind and require adjustment at each stop & I'm not sold on the LED's being bright.

Can anyone recommend a better alternative? I'd love to tell you what make/model the current ones are but I suspect a cheap ebay deal....

Are they fairing mounted?

If so you may find mirrors off of a GSXR of some sort will fit the same mounting points, and have properly built in indicators.

Vibration on any mirrors can usually be dampened by adding weight. I read on here once that drilling a small hole and filling the mirror with silicone sealant does the trick (might want to reconsider if they've got indicator electronics inside them mind!).

Bar end mirrors? Cheap and cheerful, good view on my bandit, and if tightened properly can stand some fair speed without moving
