so house is selling and the buyer wants to send in these people to review if there is any damp.

My understanding is that if you want an indication of damp you pay from a chartered surveyor.
asking a damp poofing company to check is there is any damp is always going to result in a big fat quote for work....
looking on trust pilot its not pleasing to see that this company's rating is made up purely from people who have only ever given a single rating and to this company for 5 stars.
