Hi all,

I wonder if anyone could help. I picked up an old pw80 recently and it was difficult selecting gears. I pulled the clutch out to check it wasn't a loose conector and they are all fine. I noticed the A (in the pics) was sticking out so I tried to push it back in and there was a small bar in the way in the tube so I careful moved it out of the way and slid A back in still has trouble changing gears and now even when I put in gear it is still neautral. Well not sure but can push bike around with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

A Looks like the shaft the selector forks ride on.
The two screws hold the plate that keeps the selector drum
(to the right of that) in place.

I reckon you'll have to split the case to get to the problem.
most of these wee bikes have a hard life so you may find a broken selector fork
