Plenty of British people live on the streets, but fresh off the boat Grenfell residents get first refusal on properties. London dwelling refugees are the modern day God's of our society, at least in London anyway.

And yes, those shirts do indeed say "so sorry" Laughing

When the pendulum swings back the other way again it's going to be absolute chaos in this country.

Believe me, I've managed to get through the whole "refugees in boats" thing unaffected by media sensationalism. I've withstood the onslaught of handwringing over the ISIS beheadings simply by refusing to watch them (basically by virtue of an internal awareness of my overactive imagination, also) ... and although I think my mate Mad Liz is doing a stirling job collecting things for Calais refugees and taking them over there, I still haven't put my hand in my pocket about any charity for YEARS other than the Friends of the Brompton, and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

And if there was a flat for my daughter and myself going for free in Knightsbridge (even if it was overlooking the whole ugliness of the traffic free-for-all and general Arabyness), I would trample over dead Grenfell babies to get to it first.

I've stopped watching the news tbh. Just bored of all the whining about Brexit and London left wing viewpoint taken in every story.
