Being a citizen of the Land of beer, I approve this message.

Moderation is the key, which is something my people never had. Although the history (middle ages) tought us well, that water might not be always alright to drink and that beer is the safest way of how to stay hydrated. The popularity of staying hydrated by drinking beer remained upto today, even many well respected doctors see beer as a better alternative to plain water in hot climate conditions, due to the minerals and vitamins contained in beer.

Beer vs tea, once again with tea you never quite know if it's ''safe'' to drink. It is not uncommon for the Czech officials to pull tea off the market due to lab test results showing excessive concentrations of pesticides, mold... Such stuff is rarelly found in beer, especially in the Czech brew.

Beer vs cancer, well not sure where this comes from, as beer does have anti-oxidants in it, and those does help grow/regenerate not only the healthy cells, but also the cancer cells = helps with growth of the tumor. I've even read before, that if you've got cancer (you're in oncology treatment) then you should avoid antioxidants.

Why does he need curing though? I remember he bought a fairly tidy for the age ZX6R for less than most of us on here could probably manage without lots of effort. I'd say we others need curing for paying too much for things instead.

Also it's supposed to be good for your Prostate.
Generally Ale is better that lager for you, especially real ale vs cheap chemical Lager.
Although I'm not sure about cheap chemical ale compared to non-chemical lagers like Munich beer (Does CZ have beer purity rules like Bavaria?).

If you mean the Reinheitsgebot, then yes. Although, just like anywhere else, there are still breweries, that brew fruit beer (I don't drink that). I'm quite conservative consumer. The best beer of them all, Pilsner Urquell, then the local (my home town) brew Radegast and Ostravar; and I also enjoy Krusovice (dark, we don't really brew Stout here, no one quite likes it). Those are the big breweries, then there are hundreds of small breweries, that also brew good beer.

They also sell unfiltered beer. Also something that I do not quite enjoy, but people seem to like it a lot.

After 35 years of drinking beer I can safely say that it's great stuff and quite possibly responsible for a total lack of sexual impotency which some might expect from a beer swilling, nearly, 50 year old male.
The trick is to consume enough of it that, even with the aid of ACE inhibitors and Alpha blockers, one can still maintain a respectably unhealthy BP of 160/110 thus ensuring brewers droop will never be an issue...
