Looking for a new chain and sprockets for my xj6.

Yamaha dealer locally is not someone i want to use as they arnt upto much.

Online i know about sportsbikeshop and wemoto.

Sportsbikeshop have a chain amd sprockets set at £120 which is double what wemoto sets start at. But they have none in stock.

I dont really want a fancy expensive chain, i just want one that doesnt have a siezed link.

But i dont really know who to use online due to being new to bikes.

M and P, demon tweeks both good and sell on eBay. Fowlers (bristol) for genuine parts too. I use wemoto a lot, ring them and see when in stock before spending double!

Wherever you can get them cheapest.
The important bit is that they're decent sprockets and chain (like JT sprockets and DID chain, but there are others).
The last few I've got came from either Webmoto or 'The Bay of Es'.

I second demon tweeks, though they did make me wait. Got a heavy duty DID chain and sprockets for £100 pretty much on the nose - CBR 650. The downside is it took them nearly 3 weeks to get it to me. Bloke said something about they don't stock them, they order them on request. If you aren't in a desperate hurry then they were the cheapest I found.

Only ever used M&P a handful of times, but every time I've had problems.
Stuff not turning up, the wrong stuff turning up, a 3 week wait when item listed as in-stock.

Totally unhelpful and unapologetic when I phoned them too.

Maybe its just me, but I'll only use them as a last resort now.
