Had a strange one this morning - I pulled up at Tesco petrol station - there was a stationary car at the pumps, I waited a couple of seconds but it appeared that the bloke was doing his makeup or something, so I pulled around to the front pump - making sure I was tucked in so the car could easily leave. Said car now pulls up alongside me and claims that he nearly hit me (whilst stationary) - I said ‘no you didn’t, you were stationary’ and carried on filling up - he then said something else and did a wheelspin away - then slammed his brakes back on and got out of his car and started offering me out. (In his condition I'd be worried about having a heart attack)

A properly weird encounter - it was a genuine LOLWUT moment, my amateur psychological diagnosis is that he has a really low level job with no authority, so he enjoyed the power of making someone wait by blocking the pumps - me going around him removed this power and put his nose out of joint.
This, or he just needed another doughnut.

So you had a running gas pump in your hand and he offered you out?

Did you ask him if he wanted some more petrol?

Ha, he's passionate about it.
For the record, I reached for the wrong one. I don't normally use Super in my bikes.

I think he was ready to go (car starting up, brake lights on), and was saying if he had he would have knocked you off. I pull in front of stationary cars but I might have waited in that situation. The rest of it was handbags Wink

That. And you did give it some and cut right in front of him.

Although that may have been due to gravitational attraction.

I think you scared him by "appearing from nowhere". He didnt expect anything to pull up at that pump because of the ignorant and shit parking job he had done (purposely probably!).

And like you say, you put his nose out of joint by managing to get through.

I see it at least once a week at the morrisons petrol station nearby. there are 6 Pay at pump machines, and all the cagers queue for the normal ones, blocking the pay at pumps (from other cars).

Me and several other bikes just nip through and use them, but the abuse we get is ridic.

Honestly, Ill be in filled up and gone before you even have a gap to get through...

And to be fair to your gentleman... that would need to be a fair sized gap! Shocked

Haven't watched the video yet, but being at a Tesco, it begs the question, it was it Michael Leese of ILLUMNI LTD Electrical Contractors?

I heard he likes going to Tesco and Knocking peoples block off. But don't worry about the camera, he doesn't care about them.

Pitsea - sewer of Essex. I'd rather run out of fuel than stop at that Tesco and have to deal with its inhabitants.

I always wonder at those drivers who have to park with the pump on the fuel cap side because they aren't capable of positioning the car the other way and bringing the hose round the back of the vehicle.

I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago as I was joining the M60. Indicating on my way down the slip road and a nice gent in the inside lane moved over so that I could pull out. As I pulled out, he passed me in the next lane and got on his horn with his mrs waving and mouthing off from the passenger seat. I couldn't help laughing, I had no idea at all where it all came from.

Looking back I can only assume he moved over because he thought I would pull into him and then thought he was right because I'd pulled out into the space he had left for me.

It's funny enough when people get unreasonably angry over petty stuff. Even more funny when it's over nothing at all. Offering out hugs tends to calm people down.

Goto10 is quite experienced at dealing with angry peeps by this point.
He does need to drop the "0" from his name now though.

Either way the pertinent question is, did he remove his lid to fill up? Thinking
