Hello,
I just made an oil change to my CBR 1997 SC33 900 and to my surprise I found 2 metallic rings and an piece like a calcium stone. my last oil change was at the beginning of summer this year and there was nothing in my oil. I am really puzzled, I need suggestions where this could come from. the motorcycle drives and pulls like a train, wheelies and tops speed 270-280 which isn't too bad given this bike has almost 63,000 km. I forgot to mention I changed the clutch last week as well

The sump plug washer? Although I'd expect a copper one to be there instead. Thinking

EDIT: What Robby says makes more sense. Thumbs Up

My best guess are that they are bits of a clutch spring, and possibly a bit of clutch friction material.

thanks a lot, I think it could be parts of the clutch yes cause some plates weren't in their best condition when I took it out.
thanks again for your thoughts

surely you would have noticed chunks of spring missing when you took them out? did you replace them or use the originals?
