As above.

Any recommendations for a 2001 tdm 850.

Fat bloke, main use 50 Mile round trip killing kittens on a motorway. Occasional 100 mile return, either mway or urban. Square resistance required....

Some of the tyre makers do a GT version specifically for heavy bikes and straight roads.
Dunlop and Michelin are the sportstouring ones I've used in GT spec.

Looked up on the michelen site, says the pr4 doesn't fit the 4tx. It recommends the pr3, any experiance/knowledge of the differences?

If it fits recommend a metzler roadtec 01 HWM. As howling terror said, im using the HWM version. My cbr6 is perhaps one of the lighter bikes to use a 180 rear, so its not intended by the manufacturer. Bike feels more stable turning in. Its said the normal has less feedback than a pr4, but I find its perfect.
