Just come into the front room from out back, only to find it full of smoke that smelt quite funky. It turns out that the house opposite (where the Asian family live) is on fire.

Stood outside to have a look as the fire brigade turned up, knocked down the front door and within a few seconds, the overwhelming smell of weed filled the air. Many deep breaths were taken.

There was no-one in the house at the time and somehow I don't think they'll be coming back. Mr. Green

You'd be correct.

By Asians, I mean ones of the Oriental persuasion.

Probably Vietnamese, as they seem to be the biggest organised producers over here (from what I've been told Laughing )

What a waste. Crying or Very sad

I understand the orientals are very good at growage. I read a book that reckoned some of the bigger weed franchises use them a lot, as they are very greenfingered, have a strong work ethic, and understand the point of being a closed community during growth periods.

Oriental grows are generally a load of shit, the live in illegal immigrant gardeners don't know anything and you can't expect slave labour to do a good job.

Why does that sound like a political slogan, on a t-shirt at a Trump rally perhaps.

I was under the impression that growing it through hydroponics is quite easy, its just the mixture of heat an humidity is quite hard to work out.

Canna boost helps too

I always thought that "weed" is exactly what it is - it'll grow just about anywhere with bugger-all help. Hydroponics systems &c are just ways of maximising growth rate and quality.

Growing using hydroponics could be described as lower maintenance than growing in compost but if growing using hydroponics then any small problem will become a more serious problem much faster than it will if growing in compost.

The hard part of the mixture of heat and humidity is getting rid of the heat. Police and newspapers love going on about hydroponic grow lights that provide the heat and light needed but heat is the limiting factor in how much light you can have. You need to be getting an intake of cool air from somewhere and the (hot) air you're extracting from the grow needs to go somewhere else. The rushing movement of air makes noise which is bad.

If you have the air extraction going out of your house then if there's the slightest leak in the ducting then you'll be extracting non-filtered air which and as that stinky air is going outside, there's a good chance your neighbours would notice the smell before you do. Laughing

Hydroponics make no difference to the speed of growth, the yield from the plants or the quality of the bud.

Cannaboost is just marketing bollocks. I highly recommend Plagron Batmix compost, Biobizz Fish Mix (used throughout the grow), Plant Magic Bio Silicon (also used throughout the grow) and then Plant Magic Oldtimer Bloom or Biobizz Bloom for the flowering period.

One thing I would like to point out is the only reason I'm posting this lot is because I do not grow cannabis. Some golden rules for growing cannabis are no smell, no tell and no sell as those are the things which will get you busted. Stealing electricity is stupid as if you do that then you are on borrowed time since it is going to get noticed at some point. As long as you're paying your bills then your electric supplier don't give a fuck how much electric you're using, there's loads of legal things you could be doing that are using loads of electric.

Break one law at a time. If you're growing weed then you need to be a model citizen and a perfect neighbour.

This lot is purely for educational purposes, I'm not encouraging you or anyone else to grow weed. Razz

edit: typo fixed.
