Experian has a free option. Clearscore is also good.

NA i dont understand how spending £15 per month with Experian with make it more understandable

It's just a useless number, Experian after Clearscore started running all those adverts, decided to give their own random figure for free. The paid service gives you access to your credit report, my sister still had something on there that should have expired, she did a bankruptcy thingy a few years back to get out of a 12k credit card debt.

Stop spending £15/month with Experian, and get same services free with Clearscore (they make their money by matching you with Lenders etc based on your score, if you chose to, no hard sell) that's £180/year saved right away, there's a new pair of tyres.

Several months ago. They only admitted it recently.

sounds like it's time for a letter to the ombudsman.

that was the only thing that got vodafone to sort my credit rating out under remarkably similar circumstances.
