|
|
Just wondering is there anyone on here that works with steel toe caps. I'm doing about 15-17miles walking a night and using paratrooper boots just isn't cutting the mustard.
So can anyone recommend a good safety boot ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Get trainer type steel toe caps, proper boots are dire for any sort of activity. Only pair I've liked were a pair of Dickies (trainer types) I got from Halfords years ago*.
*they don't seem to do them anymore though |

Dewalt apprentice. About 40 to 50 quid. And they don't have a retarded looking special needs obvious toecap either.
Nice to drive or walk in, comfy straight out of the box. I prefer the honey coloured suede ones myself. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

I bought some Dunlop ones to replace the Dickies and didn't find them comfortable. Their range seems to consist of the generic cheapo stuff. These [DO NOT GET] after about a week of cycling (don't ask) were trying to decapitate my toes. |

Try Haix. German. Not cheap.
I have been buying Haix for the past four or five years.
28 X 12 hr shifts and maybe five or six miles a day and I get about 6 months before the tread wears out.

Just out of curiosity, can you not get away with wearing black trainers? |
