Not sure wtf this weird job is?
Not even a night security guard at a large factory site would have to walk 15miles a night?

To do that sort of mileage a shift on foot, you'd be walking for 6-7hours minimum a shift. Probably more if your carrying gear or tools. Doesn't leave much time left for actually working if your doing a typically normal length shift.

I used to do stock and logistics in events catering based mostly at London ExCeL, sometimes at Olympia Kensington and during the summer at many different outdoor events (such as Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court, Sonisphere festival, St Paddy's day at Trafalgar sqr ETC ETC.)
That would involve me walking/carrying stock from the warehouse or main compound areas to the various bars around each event.
ExCeL is just shy of half a mile long and I would walk the entire length of that uncountable times a day.
I reckon I cleared more than 15 miles a day, every day for however long I would work.
Given that some of the outdoor events were on super large sites as well, the distances covered there may well be greater.
Shifts could last indefinitely (longest shift I ever did was 19 hours) and the consecutive days in a row could last indefinitely (longest I did was 23 days IIRC).

By far the best job I've had but it also meant my social life didn't extend beyond work colleagues that often.

But yeah; steelies + long distances = not an issue.
Hence my recommendation of the Dewalt ones. Tried and tested!

Just depends on OPs feet really. You're better off making your own choice as one person's perfect pair will be another person's nightmare.

Been wearing theses for work for almost 10 years, light weight composite toe/sole and very comfortable. Side zip makes getting on and off easy too.

Goes well with 5.11 taclite trousers, another good piece of work wear for active jobs things last forever too.

to be fair it wasn't noticeable as I would be putting an order away and bell would ring so walk entire lenth of warehouse to sort

walk back it would ring again

also up and down stairs

back and forth up aisles putting stock away
