Hi guys, just bought a 2005 zx6r ninja. Am wanting to replace the stabdard low beam halogen bulb for a hid bulb and also the yellow side light bulbs. Can anyone tell me a decent hid package, will I need a ballast? Are the sidelight bulbs standard 501 bulbs

Thanks in advance

You can retro fit HID bulbs but you will not have a strictly legal light then.

HID lamps have a different reflector geometry to project the light and prevent glare.

You can get other bulbs that are effective enough.

Try some PIAA bulbs. Not cheap but super bright. (at night)

Yeah I know they are not strictly legal same as in cars. Never had any problems. If anyone know what bulb type they are and a decent hid kit

You'll want a non-melting headlight too..

Any HID and ballast will do, however be prepared for being called a cunt, looking like a cunt and melting part of the bike Thumbs Up
