Hey all, i have decided to sell the goose, and am a bit unsure what price to put it up for!

Suzuki Goose 350, 1992, 33bhp , 19,934 KM, not sure what that is in miles Razz . IDEAL 1st test pass bike as it looks and sounds so much better and bigger than any 125 or 250 and is allready at 33bhp!. Mint condition, japanise yoshimura race can, carbon fibre single seat conversion. Electric starter, starts perfectly everytime on the button, so realible and sips juice, but on the other hand will go to 109mph Wink

Ive seen quite a few 1994 goose's with half my miles being advertised at 2,999 !

Mines only 2 years older, but the condition and extras are fantastic.

Any ideas guys ? comes with tax and MOT for 11 months.

thanks, alex

What did you pay for it and how long ago?

Extras don't add to the value of a bike, it will sell for just as much (or more) as standard spec.

well, i got it for an absolute bargin ste, wouldnt like to say how much as im hoping to make a profit.

The guy who sold it to me, his bike shop closed down because he got a new job overseas, and needed to sell all his bikes pronto. The goose was in his shop advertised for 2,225 quid, but privately he lowered the price to 1,475 and with my dad's superior bargining skills
i got it for 1,275! but i only got it that low as he was desperate to get rid of all his bikes, even if they were worth alot more. when i bought the goose, he had another 12 bikes to sell in 1 month :S

I'd reckon advertise it around £2k, and be willing to haggle about £200 off that. Does really depend on the general condition of the bike and what will need doing soon; tyres, brake pads, chain & sprocket, oil & filter, brake fluid etc etc. The more of those which will need doing soon the more people will want to haggle off it.

yeah, ta ste Very Happy , it had all the brakes, oil, and others all done when i bought it, got a free service and MOT on price Wink

But seriously around the pic doesnt do it justice, around the engine theres some huge metal chrome suzuki emblems, loads of intricut details and other things, such a strange but beautifal bike, its cafe` racer style aparently.

Cool il put it in for 2000, but realisticly get about 1,800 - 1,900 ? but who knows, maybe 2000 ;D

Generally people expect to be haggled down about 10% of the advertised price. And having had the oil and brakes done when you bought it doesn't mean much unless you've only done a couple of hundred miles as they will need doing soon and all affect the value of the bike. And as much metal chrome bits it has, there are plently of other bikes people can choose from and I very much doubt it will be bought by someone with the tarty chrome bits as the main selling point, it will most likely be someone young who has done their 33bhp test and is after a 33bhp bike.

Put it at £2,000 and assuming that is a fair price (as it could be a complete shit heap, havn't seen it) and expect to actually get £1800-1900.
