Leather tool bag with logo = monogrammed leather posing pouch, perhaps.
Google "iron on transfers". I've used these on my (ruck)sac.

Think I'll pass on that, if it's all the same to you. I may not have much sanity left, but I value what little is still there! Laughing

Should have been sew not sow.

Sow is what you do with your man seed. Also, could have been calling him a pig fucker.

Historically, this country was built by the Royal Navy, who's ships kept open the trade routes throughout the then known world. Those sailors were not only required, in Nelsons time, to "Hand, reef and steer" a ship, they were also expected to make their own uniforms from lengths of cloth........never mind the amount of needlework required to maintain a full set of sails.

I see sewing as another technology, practised throughout the ages, that has helped us as a species, progress.

I view the use of any materials, modern or old, as a skill.

If that skill is valued or not,I leave to your judgement, but as for skills having a gender, or sexuality bias?

I would say having babies is a skill that's definitely gender biased. Thumbs Up

A skill? would you put that on your cv? Having babies is something most families do all the time, without even realising it. Your point?

I'm a boy, so no I wouldn't put it on my CV......your point? Wink

Also I'm fairly sure "most families" notice when they're having a baby. It's not like they just flop out unannounced when you're reading the paper! Laughing

Also, https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=skill&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=j9h8WdLaIbD38AfMwaPQBg

Difficult to argue that some aren't better at having babies than others.....

Sewing is female black magic, hence why I could never do it. Much like multi-tasking, the female art of feckin up several things at once.

1. Sewing is a multi-gender skill and not at all girlie. Tailors and leatherworkers were traditionally men for many years before modern times.

2. I don't think you should attempt to reaffix the logo/transfer at all. Leather is a natural material, proven over centuries of use by mankind, and it prolly isn't supposed to have plastic stuff fixed onto it. I'd just let the logo deconstruct itself over time, maybe help it along by rubbing off what is loose, to leave the leather natural as possible.

OP probably wants someone with first hand experience of preserving the cheap Chinese tag proudly displaying the HD logo on his tasselled 'leather' tool bag. Laughing

I learned to sew (among other things) in the Army cadets. If Mrs grr needs a repair to any of her stuff, I do it.
She's not the most homely woman in the world, but that's how I like her.
