Is this at all possible?

I used it Sunday evening/night with no issues. Turned off and went away camping for 3 nights. Turned on the tv to find this:

https://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh163/adam673673/Mobile%20Uploads/20170728_092959_zpsxd7ojdgv.jpg

To me this looks like an impact mark which is right in the middle of the damage.

https://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh163/adam673673/Mobile%20Uploads/20170728_101030_zpsba1pygkb.jpg

I live alone. Tv is a curved led samsung of about 18 months old.

I'm thinking crazy ex girlfriend who stole my spare keys some time ago had them copied and come and fucked it up.

Thoughts?

It would be a very subtle trail of revenge destruction.
Could you have possibly done it with a bag or jacket when leaving.
The display might not have failed until a while after the impact.

Is a small mark but a substantial impact from something. Fairies or cranky ex. New locks and new TV.

Lounge is at the back of the house in a shady corner near the double big glass rear doors. Blinds where closed completely.
Nothing else seems to have been touched oroutnof position.

I know I didn't go near it before I left Monday morning. In fact I never go near it anyway, that's what controllers are for.

I'll speak to letting agent about key swap, and house insurance is probably the cheaper way to go.

Why the fuck didn't you change the locks as soon as you knew a 'Crazy Ex' had your keys?

You can replace most door locks in minutes for less than £10.

Even if it's rented I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem if you explained to the landlord the situation and gave them a spare set of keys.

You need to buy some decent locks, they cost a lot more than that.

The cheapest Euro-cylinders costs that. Do you imagine that any new build is going to be fitted with anything but the cheapest Euro-cylinders?

My new build has solid hardwood doors with 8 point locking... Although to be fair I do live in Basingstoke.

Mine were about £60 each. I said you can get them for that.
