Were one to, say, slightly saute some herbs whilst making medicated butter, and once said herbs were strained off, they looked surprisingly like breadcrumbs, only a little bit, well, darker (greener), mixed in with slightly toasted butter debris.

And the butter derivative still looks a reasonably-acceptable shade of green, by the way, not at all burnt like the last lot. So time will tell if I have cooked the arsehole out of that and ruined it.

But the solids/debris that I strained off (in a sieve, managed to only just stop myself from employing an old pair of tights, that would have been a disaster ... Shocked ) they taste alright, actually ...

I could make normal macaroni cheese and sprinkle that on top.

Too much messing about:

Get spoon,
Crumble herbs into spoon.
Cover with a little olive oil
Heat gently over the gas ring (or lighter) for a couple of minutes.
Stir into yoghurt.
Eat yoghurt.
Cancel diary for the rest of the day Wink

Interesting!
Cool I've just made some ginger yoghurt today. I was going to eat it straight.

But I might save it til tomorrow and try that, cos any effort to gauge how effective it is, will be wasted by the fact that I am a lightweight and stay twatted for hours (just had a little snooze and and still distinctly dizzy) Laughing

I was alway a 'special' pancake affectionado. Cool
Quick and easier than sodding about making muffins or cupcakes.

1. Grind herbs finely in grinder until powdery, then mix up ordinary pancake batter mix.

2. Heat teaspoon of oil in pan til it's smoking slightly, (always make a trial pancake with no herbs as the first one is always a bit shit until the pan is sealed)

3. Now for special Pancake #2 - pour mix into pan as normal THEN add herbs to mix. Easy. The only real rule is to
sprinkle herbs onto the pancake mix in the pan while it's still wet. Don't put herbs directly in the mix as it's a waste of
herbs and some will stick to the receptacle, after all we all know how expensive herbs can be and I hate waste.
Flip over once the surface of the pancake is touch dry but don't cook for as long as the first side or you may spoil your herbs.

4. Optional- Add sultanas or choc drops or whatever floats your boat after you've added the herbs and you'll barely
be able to tell there are herbs in there until about an hour later, sooner if you are completely empty.
Serve with ice cream and a spliff. (Or traditional lemon juice and sugar, It's all good. Wait an hour or so then bung some Ozric Tentacles on and enjoy your flight. )

Edited to add link to Ozrics finest album. Thumbs Up

Decarboxylation before cooking. Thumbs Up (Google yo, you'll get a better explanation than I can give)

If just using standard herbs to make cannabutter or oil then you don't need to grind the buds first.

However what you really want for cooking with is some BHO or shatter. Alternatively, if you want to get higher than you've ever been before (be an astronaut?) then you need to get yourself some moon rocks. Wub But to get those, you need a pretty specialist dealer to buy from or a mad scientist to make them. Laughing

Please try not to explode yourself if making concentrates. Laughing

Nothing fancy, just butter to make brownies with.
