recommend me a tyre

for my crf 250l. Currently use avon roadriders which are awesome on the road but can't go near a green lane with them or anything other than tarmac lol.

i commute 60 miles a day using the roadriders but there are loads of great green lanes near me i want to start riding properly.

something like a shinko 700 or 705 any good for road and green lanes? or i have a set of michelin ac10's would it be easier just to get another set of wheels and swap over when needed?

heres what the green lanes are like: can be a lot muddier and wetter though.

If you have the ac10s and you can source a set of cheap wheels to swap out, I'd look at that. 60 miles a day will eat a lot of tyres that give good grip when those lanes are wet. Tkc80 may work, but I took them off my bike for scorpion mt90 because of amount of road work it currently does.

I used to be a fan of AC-10s on the CRF250L, but apart from the rear wearing out too quick on the road, the front tyre tends to climb out of ruts and throw me off

Maxxis Cross IT's I have on mine now,I ride on the motorways and on green lanes with them, but I also get through a lot of tyres, chains and sprockets on my Honda, and I've only done 8k miles on it.

there is a set of wheels with discs and sprockets on ebay for £150 which i could get and put my ac-10s on is there anything else i'd need or would it be just swapping them over every time i wanted supermoto or offroad. And from watching a few videos of people swapping them over is it as easy and quick as it looks?
