Hi

New to the forum, I'm looking to fix the indicators on my friends sons Speedfight 3. None of them are working and I refuse to believe that every bulb has blown.

Does anyone know if this bike has a separate flasher relay or is it integral to the voltage regulator.

And if so, where is the flasher relay located because I can't find it anywhere!!

Many thanks in advance Smile

Start with checking the fuse box. The relay wise, the internet does suggest there should be a separate flasher relay unit. This could be as simple as finding the relay and cleaning the contacts of it. It could also be a faulty switch on the handlebar and/or the wiring to it.

Spraying the relevant contacts with a electrical contact cleaner could solve your issue.

EDIT: On your SF3, the relay should be under the seat. SF2 has it behind the clocks.

Thank you

Fuses are fine, I've been under the seat and there are three electrical "boxes"; the regulator, the CDI and starting relay all mounted on a bracket. Can't see any flasher relay.

I guess I could try and spray the switchgear with contact cleaner and see if that helps.

WRT the internet info, some wiring diagrams suggest that the flasher is integral to the regulator, but there are some moped spares websites that sell a Speedfight 3 flasher relay (looks like a black round plastic box with a socket). Very confusing.

I phoned a Peugeot dealership and they said it is under the handlebar trim, but I took that off and couldn't find it... Sad
