It's such a great ice breaker. There are a good half dozen barmaids Gracie has managed to pull for me.
Her being a she and me being a he seems to add some extra aaah-value too. Especially when I get her doing her little
routine of tricks.

I can assure you that won't last. Gracie was always asleep when we got her. Now we welcome the peace when she's asleep.
I think I'm going to call mine Miss-Adventure after todays little episode, the dumb dog decides to try and cross a small ravine
via a fallen tree that spans it. Idiot gets half way across and has a change of heart and attempts to turn round to go
back the way she came. Slips on mossy bark and falls 10 feet into a rock covered dry river bed. Seems to have come out largely
uninjured but there was a little blood in her mouth, but I think that was probably where she bit her tongue upon impact with
the floor. All ribs feel okay and all legs are functional. Had a quick tooth count and they are all there still. Stupid dog.
Pepper is very cute BTW.

She has two modes as well - "eat" and "stop eating":

Ok, so I may have lied about the second mode (that's a "slow-eating" bowl, for the uninitiated. Pisses her off, but it does seem to keep the volume of farts down a bit, so meh)

Cocker Spaniel. Think it's crossed with a tasmanian devil or some kind of marsupial though. And where it comes from they have to have more gravity.

Boomer after a 40 min stroll last night, to tire him out as the night before he was an absolute menace before bed.

When we got back he was dying to get on the sofa bless him. He can usually scramble up himself, but he was too tired last night Laughing

Pepper took 2 attempts at the 'sitting jump' at the sofa last night, both unsuccessful, resulting in a headbutt heap of dog.
So she then goes back a few paces and takes a running jump. Again, headbutt, but this time with enough kinetic energy to flip backwards on the sofa, ending up belly up and dazed for a few seconds.
Proper £500 worth on the Harry Hill moneytrain, I'm going to have to set up some webcams for this. Pound Coin Pound Coin Pound Coin

Boomer is doing very well! He's learning how to be a dog, we're learning how to keep a dog. Sometime we learn from our mistakes...

https://i.imgur.com/yH3lR12.jpg

At least he had fun.

He's also growing in size rather quickly (excuse the ball sack on show...):

https://i.imgur.com/LujjTUZ.jpg

And has his spot on the sofa in between me and the wife:

https://i.imgur.com/osJEyMX.jpg

He's a lovely, mad, energetic, cute, cuddly, chewy, eating machine that makes us laugh, shout, and smile every day. No regrets, and cant wait for him to keep growing and learning!

Did Irma pass through your lounge? hehe. Looks like the cupboard under the sink was plundered... Thumbs Up Laughing
Mine has just had a meltdown because she saw a cat in her garden out of the conservatory window. Big prey instinct. Laughing
This afternoon I had to install a cage around the shoots of my jasmine bush in the garden as I caught her eating
them this morning. She's already eaten half my garden, and dug up the other half.
We're due Gracies first season anytime soon. Sigh... Can't wait for that... Bet she gushes at Christmas, just to be an arse.

Toilet training is very taxing. But she sleeps in a crate, and spends a couple hours during the day in there too. Constantly feel like I'm looking for another shoe.

Pupdate! Yes, ironically I've taken a couple of photos over the last few days specifically for a pupdate.

Boomer continues to do great, and is really getting his own personality. He's very vocal, which I absolutely love! I dont mean just barking, but generally making different noises depending upon his mood to let you know what he's thinking.

He dreams a lot too, and once he gets into a dream he's hilarious to watch!

Still very good when out for walks - we got him a training lead as he was beginning to pull. Training lead works wonders so he's now great on the lead and still brilliant off it. We're finding new routes all the time where he can be off lead for quite a while which he loves. We're now up to 40 minute walks, sometimes up to an hour in the mornings and about half an hour at night.

Had a blip with food a few weeks ago, changed his food on the recommendation of someone and it made his guts go bad. Runny poops galore. Must have been a bit distressed bless him as he started chewing the walls, but we changed it back and a couple of days later, solid poops, happy doggy, no more chewing walls!

He must have eaten some bird seed from the garden yesterday which didnt agree with him so when we went to Pets at Home last night, he proceeded to shit bird seed all over the shop. That was fun. Laughing

Approaching 17 weeks now and weighing in at 12kg Thumbs Up

Anyway, on with some pics!:

Any pupdates from others?

Boomer is 19 weeks now, and we still cant go anywhere in public very fast without being asked if people can stroke him or feed him or what he is and how nice he is! Which is great, good socialising for him and he loves the attention anyway.

He also seems to have found his bark which has turned from a yap into a bark now! His ears have also overtaken the size of his head which I like Laughing Him and little man are becoming close now, which we hoped would happen and I adore. Couple of pictures:

Gracie was a year old on the 2nd of October, got a few snaps I took out on walkies with her last week.
Her first Autumn, she's loving sniffing around in the fallen leaves.

Flat out. Again. He likes a snooze & using Jnr's doctors set as a pillow! Getting bigger every day and have now had to put his big boy collar on him!

Had the pleasure of seeing his mum again yesterday:

https://i.imgur.com/2fZvF0h.jpg

The most placid laid back dog ever - shes gorgeous! Can see that Boomer is definitely more Spinoni than Lab.

Took a quick mug shot whilst drying his paws after the morning walk:

https://i.imgur.com/VyAeQes.jpg

For the first time ever he sat there and enjoyed it! After he tried to eat the towel... Still very happy with him and we cannot say 'Walk' without him standing by the back door moaning to be off out Laughing Laughing
