Im about to get my first service on my lexmoto 125 (exactly a week from when im writing this), in my booklet from my dealer it says 311 miles for first service, at the moment im on around 360, how accurate does my mileage need to be to what it says in the booklet?

Only asking as I was thinking of going somewhere on saturday that would add around 30 miles.

Many thanks

First service would ideally want to be as close to the stated limit as possible. But I don't think you would notice anything untoward in the way of engine wear and longevity if it's over by a bit.

An extra 100 miles is unlikely to be an issue, but obviously it's not ideal and ought to be avoided.

It's nothing to stress about, Some bikes will have done far more hours to achieve a given mileage e.g. if used mainly in traffic at lower speeds.

Are we providing your warranty?

Ask your dealer.

Bear in mind that they are a dealer though, so any assurance isn't worth the paper that it won't be written on.

Not so unusual when you realise that 311 miles is 500km. They probably specify 500km for the first service but convert it to miles for the UK market. Don't sweat it.
