Even if it was only for a while!

4 or 5 weeks ago I fell off the back off my truck and fractured my arm so obviously I haven't been able to take the bike out,but after sitting here today sweating like hell in this heat I thought what the hell and gave it a go...I cant fully straighten my right arm so it was rather difficult to ride and tucking my arm in to see in the mirror was very painful BUT ahhhh fresh air and freedom it was well worth the pain every time I went over a bump!

I know I probably shouldn't have gone out but I just couldn't stand it anymore, its funny isn't it that after 32 years of not even wanting a bike or showing any interest at all in bikes not being able to ride mine for a month or so has been bloody murder!

I'll probably have to wait a couple more weeks until the arm is 100%,needless to say I can't wait!

Oh...and I've heard ALL the jokes about fell off the back of a lorry from all my wonderful mates so don't even bother eh! Very Happy

Good on you. I've just been getting back on mine in the past fortnight after breaking my arm. The best physio is riding, or so I've been told. Smile I was on two days after having the pot off, trouble was I was more than a bit weak wristed. Wink Other than aching after an hour or two, I'm all go.

Riding more will help. Thumbs Up There's nothing so satisfying. Except getting a pot off after four weeks, shortly followed by the frustration of weak and stiffness, followed again by the sadistic physiotherapists... Rolling Eyes

Glad to hear you're on the mend, keep it up, and get on yer bike! Smile
