Hey guys
My xs500 just passed its mot yesterday. It rode fine during the day but when I took out again in the evening it cut out a few times. One of the times when I started it up again it struggled to idle for a while.
Carbs are clean idles at about 13k normally

What should I adjust ?

Shocked that's a fair speed for idle Shocked maybe it idles at 1300 rpm Laughing

A battery on the way out could do that.

Yea I meant 1300.
Battery is fairly new , plugs are new also.
When it was struggling to idle it sounded like one of the cylinders wasn't firing. I had this problem before, I cleaned the carbs and put some new plugs and it seemed to fix it. That's what made me think it's the carbs that need adjusting now

Had a look at it today. It's only firing on one cylinder. I've adjusted the points slightly but no change. Both sides are getting spark.
