I know that in about 1981/2, a new pair cost me £40 (funny the things you remember). I got them for my brother, who wanted to try them on his Z650. They didn't fit. Not sure why now, think maybe the centre section wasn't wide enough. But I was Saturday lad at a Laverda dealership, so I probably got them cheap, and was able to return them.

/pointless story.

Some hipster will pay a fortune for them in the course of ruining a perfectly good [INSERT MID 80S AIR COOLED BIKE HERE].

Make sure you use the words "vintage, bobber and cafe racer" in the sale title.

Should be pointed out that after 250LC headlamps, Jota bars are one of the most commonly reproduced aftermarket motorcycle parts in existance.

You can buy a brand new, not rusty, aftermarket set for around £50.

Anyone buying them would spend their time alternately wondering 1) why they paid a premium for such a rusted piece of shit or 2) if they are going to snap when they used the brake the next time.

One of the more manky pieces of crap that people have tried to flog on here, tbh.

I'd rather buy one of those 'customs' that have been abortioned by someone who appears to have been on a 3 month crack binge.
