Hi, my son has bought a NSR here in SWEDEN. We have started to fix so we get some more power. I got some help from Alains, thanks for that. But now I have been blocked to send more messages:( So now i wonder about the Cdi. We looked at the connector on Cdi and I do not have green / black and yellow cable to switch each other (do You understand my bad english) when we buy a Cdi 626. I have yellow black and red white and two others. We will buy a new box for the exhaust port to (Tv78)
I read everywhere that Alains have written a document about Honda Nsr 125.But we cant found it anywhere. Anyone has a copy of this?
Best regards Henric Nyström

I'm not sure what you mean about CDI......should be a straight swap.
What CDI is currently fitted? ci626 is the full power version, so I'm guessing you have something different currently fitted. Which one?
I will email you a copy of "Alain's nsr tips" which is very useful.

Thanks! I reed this on a other forum, 125 cc sportsbike forum:
To change it you will probably need to take the rear side fairings off, and unbolt any obstructions. It has 3 sets of wires (group of 2, group of 4 and 1 on its own). Before you just plug the new one in you need to swap a couple of wire around. Take the group of 4 wires coming from the bike and gently pull the green and black wire, and the yellow wire out of the plastic block, and swap them over, putting them back into each others terminal using crimpers or whatever tool does the job. Now you can plug it in, and put any parts back on that you had to take off.
I have Cdi ci 639 with color yellow/black, green, blue and red/white.
Best regards Henric |

Alains has helped me:)
...wiring at the connector the wire “ignition" black/yellow , the green is the ground
if you want to fit a CI626 you must cross these 2 |
