Not much to see.
Was it rider error or deliberate showboating?

Sucks to be that guy!! He can't wheelie, the police are taking the piss out of his wheelie skills (or lack thereof) and he's dead.

I don't understand. Should I feel sorry for one of the poorest displays of riding I've seen this week?

Instead of just turning left, he hammered the anchors on and rode into the path of a van.

Less skill than me trying to ride that little green thing G brought to the dirt track with a slick on!

Apparently the accident was 7th August 2016 but I can't find a note of the deceased's name anywhere so far.

However, I can confirm:

It involved a blue and white Suzuki GSXR motorcycle and red Citroen Nemo van

Of course it was a Gixxer.

Life insurance policies should have specific exclusions for Gixxerman, it's got to be a leading cause of death.

That'd be Goodwood breakfast club, Classic car Sunday. Looks like he'd just come out of the main gate so had been on the bike all of half a minute on his way back home. That's a fairly narrow section of road and around 300 metres on from where he joined is a roundabout which often starts tailing back on those mornings as well. Not somewhere I'd be smashing it on cold tyres.

Plenty of people try a bit of show boating along there - supercar Sunday can be downright dangerous (imo) with exotic cars and boy racer wannabes in chav mobiles doing rolling burnouts etc while the hedgerows are stuffed with idiots gawping/cheering them on and stationery queues of cars 50 metres ahead. I'd wager most of those drivers aren't particularly skilled, and it's not a case of what if, but when one of them crashes. This years was way too busy, and Goodwood are now ticketing the events (still free, but trying to limit the numbers). The actual event inside Goodwood is usually really well run and you get to see some great cars and bikes.

A disgrace to both the GSXR community and the people that can wheelie.

He needs to step up his game.... Next time.

Well that's a sentence he will say once in his life...

"look lads, watch me do a wheelie."
