You really need to think more carefully about your phrasing.

We went to the cinema to watch this for a friends birthday. What a kick in the nuts at the end. Yeah, happy birthday petal!

I watched it when it first came out - obviously I was a lot younger then. If I watched it now, I'd probably be crying too. Having a kid has turned me to mush.

I thought it was a shit/boring film with a fantastic ending. I might have issues Smile

You think? Very Happy Second one where the guy gets his nob cutoff's a bit grim, but films like that are meant to shock.

I watched child's play when i was 10 or 11. It scared the shit out of me. I still can't watch any supernatural horror on my own without having 17 lights on and a clear run to the knife drawer.

Apparently that's the film that inspired Jamie Bulger's killers. Either that or they were just psychotic budding paedos Thinking

Erm no, I've stayed in hostels around the world and many are nicer than hotels plus are a great way to meet people. If a hostel's crap then no one will stay there as everywhere is measured by online scores these days.

My two films would be Taxi Driver and Mulholland Drive. They've not exactly affected me day to day but they really resonated with me and I'll keep going back to them. I like films that make you think.

The next time two stunning Russian girls try to seduce me I might think twice Wink

Star Wars,

I'm a full on fan boy, Books, Comics, Games I love the lot. I worked out the other day of the 172 Star Wars Audio Books I have found I've listened to 113 (Yes I have a spreadsheet) Laughing

Nothing has affected my life (or Bank Balance) as much as that.

I have no idea how many times I've watched the films but I can tell you I've watched them all together in one sitting at least 5 times. (4 X 1-6, 1x 1-7)

I think I get OP a bit now about what he meant after all these replies.

I love films, and yeah some of them have influenced my views on stuff, or my feelings about things like human spirit, death, determination to succeed, and how people can come together to achieve things or save themselves in extreme situations.

I think films and the news and world events have definitely changed my views on the human race, and how much I despise so many traits of the modern human. I also get a bit more where animal lovers come from now, and also our need to help the plannet or at least try and slow down the rate that we are killing it, or poisoning ourselves.

Hmmm

Personally I don't like graphic horror of the saw / hostel variety. Not that it affects me so much, just don't see the point.

Far prefer something that builds tension. I seem to remember watching the Japanese subtitled version of the ring and thinking it very good. However I watched it alone, late, in dark etc - with someone else and / or a different setting may well have been. Different story.
