Trump has been putting pressure on China-China-China to cut them off.

What are their options? Fold on their nuclear ambitions - and we've seen how that plays out for regimes that Washington doesn't like - or raise?

Given that they haven't had their regime "stabilised", I think they've made the right choice.

I don't think we'll be needing it while NK is focussed on the USA. If they get it wrong with the yanks, it'll likely be the last thing they ever do. This is why I can't understand what they're up to, winding them up now, before they have an effective nuclear capability.

Right now they're the mouthy guy in the nightclub trying to start a fight. It's when the real players get involved we need to worry*

China wants North Korea to do what it is doing. What is not to like for them? The Chinese want the US to come to "a sensible, peaceful agreement" whereby North Korea gives up its nukes in exchange for the US pulling out of Japan and South Korea and handing East Asia over to China so they can be a superpower.

It's like with the Muslims in the West, everyone can see it but nobody wants to say Laughing

Think I'll put some money on 99 luftbalons reentering the charts soon.

Question is, when murica goes full fuck yea, will China and Russia let it slide because of how much of a dick Kim is being, or are we going to regret slimming down the BFG?

It's hard to tell what will happen because NK is a big issue, but almost everything seems to have a higher priority (e.g keeping China happy, trade, SK's PM's objections, China' trade with NK). It's quite a leap to China fighting a huge war with the West, from the current level of them being reluctant to put in full sanctions on NK. If they knew we were really serious they would prefer to put in full sanctions than fight a war.

Personally I think the US and NATO should attack, and attack hard. Even if China gets involved it will only be in a limited fashion with deniable interference as long as we make clear that it's only an air campaign with some special forces ground activity. We might take some losses but its totally worth it to get rid of Kim's city busting nukes. What we can't allow is Kim to get a few hundred nukes similar to our stockpile and then start threatening and blackmailing other countries with them.

It's great plotting the destruction said nuclear weapons will have in London ...
But in all reality, missiles from either side will be screaming "FU" as they sail on past the UK Very Happy

We are the net in the latest game of Nuclear volleyball.

I also believe now is the perfect time to rollout the Peacewalker program
Cool

China could stop selling them components and materials for nuclear warheads. That would help.
