Watched the Moto GP a lot last year, but kind of missed the boat this year, but just saw this online.

He's tough and still a great rider but time to retire this year. Young hungry riders coming up. No need to go further down - leave while he is still near the top.

I reckon that's the signal for the beginning of the decline of his career this time. He's recently been 'almost there', but the talent coming through at the mo seems to be stopping him getting to the front. Even with a 3 point bendyleg. Having a 4 point bendyleg is just going to make this even tougher.

I'm all for the 'prove me wrong' to happen. I'm a sheep with a 46 sticker on the screen. But people like Dovi, Markeymark and Vinalez are just so bitey now.

I has a sad.

They said Rossi, who is fourth in the standings, had "displaced fractures of the tibia and fibula of his right leg".

The timescale for his recovery is not known but he looks set to sit out the next race in Misano on 10 September.

Y'think??! Eh?

Im a Rossi fan too and love watching him.

But i dont want to keep watching to the point hes not competing, which is where its going.
Its time to admit hes no longer quick enough and concentrate on his VR46 race team, maybe he can get satisfaction through that.

Like already said, Rossi was 1st and sailing and ended up 3rd at the end of the last race... he didnt even put much of a fight up when they past him, its not like him.

That would be because his tyres had given up the ghost. Which everyone (including Rossi) knew was going to happen, as they'd been struggling on long runs all weekend.

Nothing to do with a lack of fight.

It's a shame for the championship, but here's hoping Dovi can bring it home and be Ducati world champ before Lorenzo Laughing

Thank you, a voice of reason,

If Dovi is leading the Championship, why isnt Lorenzo past it . . .

You never know what a limit is until you cross it's threshold. For all we know it could have been sustained on a leg press machine...

I tore a calf muscle putting my bike on the centre stand.
So I'll be out of Moto-GP for a while too. Sad
