New boots too small - size 43. Pretty sure I ordered 45s. But when I use "awaiting feedback" to go back to the original listing, and my order, I can't suss out how to find out which size I actually requested. Is there a way that anyone knows? I'd ask on the eBay forums but shit, I find them laborious to use to say the least.

It doesn't really matter what size you actually ordered, just return what you've got for a refund.

I wondered if they'd hit me w/ a postage charge - but if they sent 43s when I asked for 45s I thought they might be more obliged to pay.

Fair point, but they could land you with that either way!

Did you pay with paypal? Order details can usually be seen if you log into paypal and view the transaction.

Is it not in the invoice which gets emailed from eBay when you complete the transaction?

Yeah it probably is - my problem with that is that I've had about three email addresses since I started my ebay account back in 2000-ish and never changed it. : - /

Re your first point - I honestly can't really see how they could land me with it if they've sent something different than I actually ordered - esp. when it's footwear where sizing is crucial.

Second point - yeah good idea, I'll have a look at that.

Your ebay history will show the size you ordered as well as colour, quantity and etc.

I ordered a dress from some Chinese outfit/(Shower of Shite).

I ordered a size 12 (could be 'taken in' if too big later)

The bell ends sent a size 8 but it had a size 12 tag on the hoowur.

I too have anti-spam accounts for unknown websites and could not remember which email address I registered with. Smile
I eventually found it and confirmed I'd ordered the 12.

I was livid..

(p.s. The dress was not for me.)
