I have recently purchased some after market fibreglass fairings for a TRX . Are there any thoughts as to the method of securing them with consideration to preventing (trying to anyway) them from cracking round the mounting bolts. Nylon bushes, rubber washers etc. Any suggestions???
I am not an everyday rider but we do have some roads that have the odd bump or two.
Any thoughts???

You would probably get away with metal washers, but some thin nylon washers would probably be better. I also strengthened some of my fairings round weak spots by shoving a load of araldite on the back, seems to have done the trick Thumbs Up

fiberglass is stronger than ABS , repair or reinforcements are like for boats . epoxy resine + fiber glass tissues , just scrap with sandpaper where you want to reinforce or repair

Thanks for the advice - have gone with some rubber and nylon bushes, and some steel washers on the belly pan. Thanks all"
