Hmmm. You're bragging about breaking several laws and causing yourself permanent injury, but you don't think you're an idiot. You are possibly more stupid than I first thought.

The only lucky thing is that you didn't cause anyone else injury.

Hopefully next time you'll crash properly though.

Well, if you did disengage the clutch, then the gearbox must have seized, which is mostly a result of insufficient lubrication. When was the last time you checked the gearbox oil?

Without investigating the engine, it's really hard to tell.

I know that the RS is prone to seizing at max throttle so the first thing i done was disengage the clutch.

ive never checked the gearbox oil. I did take it into the garage just 3 weeks ago for a general check over and any manintenance necause it was giving me issues starting on the button.

If it was the gearbox, that caused this, then I think there is a place for a law suit. You paid money to a professional to check your motorcycle, to make sure it was safe to ride, which it obviously wasn't. Thinking

Although, the stupidest thing was not wearing proper gear. There are people on this forum, that crashed their motorcycles in much higher speeds, just walking away with no injuries.

When was the last time you checked and adjusted the chain?

Yes i did take it into the garage mate. I took it in to have some wiring fixed so the electric start would work. But while it was in i asked the mechanic to do a general check over and any maintenance on the bike while it was in.

I keep telling myself exactly that. I was a fucking idiot and would not have sustained even half of these injuries most likely if i had wore full protection. Its not a mistake i will make twice.

New chain and sprocket shortly after buying the bike. Then took it in for a chain adjustment after 100 miles. Maybe done 100-150 miles since the chain adjust.

I may have a long history of riding not in accordance with the law and at high speeds but that does not mean that i don't know how to ride a motorcycle.

The evidence you've provided in previous posts would suggest otherwise. Just how many miles did your new engine have on it when it seized up?

About 300 miles. Although it had been through several heat cycles before this.

Oh, not you again! Are you not dead yet?

I thought you were banned from riding anyway, or at least on the way to be. Do everyone a favour, stay off the roads ffs before you kill someone.

But on the other hand, pictures or gtfo, sock.

After reading that, it's clear that op has absolutely no idea what caused spill. But it definitely wasn't 'user error'! I've had 2 chains go (years apart and not from poor mekaniking) and neither locked wheel up.

120mph speed on Aprilia RS125 is obviously a Morphine-induced fantasy Rolling Eyes

From what you said something caused rear wheel lock up. There are a few things that could do that.
- engine seizure, pulling the clutch is an easy way of recovery from this.
- loose chain
- wheel bearing failure
- gearbox failure (rather uncommon, unless it's a new Yamaha R1)

Regular checks and good maintenance can prevent first three.

Why do you think i am asking here what could have gone wrong with the motorcycle?

You also said:
A friend of mine had his body scattered all over a road in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, so believe me i know what you are saying.
- Yet you find yourself in a situation, without proper gear, doing stupid stuff.

Well, when the motorcycle began to slide, i had about 15-20 seconds to think before i came off. I felt a immediate sense of "this is it, you are going to die" but i didn't feel scared.
- I'm not very certaint, but my ZX7R could do 0-200-0 (km/h) in 20 seconds. It's a heavy old Superbike with only about 122.00 HP.

I'm the perfect example of a adrenaline junkie. I enjoy the buzz of going so fast that you can feel it thump through your chest as you're accelerating. I've taken vehicles to much faster speeds than 100mph previously.
- Please elaborate.

I think the speed that i was riding at could have contributed to the crash, by putting added pressure on a already weak link on the motorcycle.
- A fairly modern R6 going 100 mph isn't really pushing the limits of the machine.
