giving it a miss this year

used to go because I enjoyed it

then I went because it was local and something to do

went last year as I wanted to look at a certain bike

every year it seems to get a little bit worse

It's on the same weekend, same building as comicon again. I regret not going to play with bikes in cosplay last year, reckon I might this year.

I'm sorry i thought this would be of interest and very relevant to the post. Its not a sales pitch.

Will you be attending this year?

Ive never been before as its a bit of a trek up from Kent but I might give it a go this year. I normally go to the one in the Excel centre but thats getting a little boring.

A trip up to Birmingham could be good. Maybe the 18th or 25th for me?

Will go, it's a nice bike related day out. Was a bit disappointed at the size
last year but it will only get smaller if numbers drop.

The best thing about the bike show was that you could grab some bargains on clothing and accessories. With the advent of Internet shopping that has gone. Last time I went you could walk round in an hour and see pretty much everything, not great value for money.

Really? You had it easy, I heard Sky Rich Batteries kidnapped Maddie. Sky Rich Batteries also touched dogs inappropriately.

Who hasn't kidnapped Maddie? Razz

When she's not being kidnapped, she gets passed around like spliff.

Sky Rich Batteries had their way with her and their way is erotic electrostimulation. Shocked

True story.

Went yesterday with a good crowd of others after printing off the tickets that I had booked online for a discounted price.Made things a lot easier getting into the show and getting out of the car park at the end of the day.

The show got very busy around lunchtime but by 14.30 hrs it had thinned out considerably and it was a lot better to actually get to see the exhibits.

What dulled the day was the serious accident on the northbound M11 that we went past on the way home.Apparently it had occurred around 1100 hrs and was still being cleared at 1930 hrs with several barriers erected so that the rubberneckers could not see what was obviously a scene of carnage and seriously mangled vehicles Thumbs Down Shocked Thumbs Down

I went on Saturday, took my daughter and nephew. Daughter's favouite stands were, Mash (more on that later), Triumph, Harley & Yamaha.

Nephew, he was somewhat overawed !! Laughing Even more so when he bought himself a panini !! ha.

I liked the look of some of the new offerings on the Mash stand, liked the look of the new Enfield 650's I was a little disappointed at the Evoke stand, where, I seemed to know more about the specs than the chaps running the stall. Having said that the vmoto scooter *may* just persuade my missus to ride again. I enjoyed the show, but, Saturday was when I'd started coming down with the lurgy, so, was sweating like a peado in a playground !!

Now, back to the Mash, my daughter, 16 next October, has set her heart on a Mash 50, well, she knows she can't have a Brough Superior SS100 Laughing She's been adamant all along that she wants a geared bike when she can ride. She has practiced on here cousins 50cc scooter and she's sat on a Zontes Tiger and Lexmoto Hunter, but the Mash is the one she's fallen for. I don't mind, as when she upgrades at 17, I'll probably keep the Mash 50 for the motorhome Thumbs Up So, look's like I'll be getting on of these, for over summer, to give her some lessons on before her cbt.

I also went on Saturday. Was advised to keep it this side of 4 hundred quid and to enjoy myself. Thumbs Up
Am in the market for a Shark Evoline style lid but was confused by which of the 3 variants was which so ultimately didn't buy.
Was also foaming at the japseye at the beautiful mirrors on the Oberon stand, I have Christmas round the corner to
get a set of those put under the tree. Also wanted some OEM Yamaha LED indicators. Couldn't find any so ordered
online when I got home. Very disappointed by the lack of clunge, with Carole Nash having most of the gash. Shocked I
wonder if the Weinstein thing has had a bearing on that kind of thing? My biggest gripe was how few exhibitors were handing
out freebies. I normally come home with a bag full of stickers and keyrings and whatnot, but there was sod all this year.
This saddens me greatly.
