Alright folks, got my Mod 1 this week on Wednesday, little bit nervous but confident at the same time, had mock test yesterday and most of it went well, couple little issues but pretty much smoothed them out.

Will keep y'all posted Smile

Thanks

Kaz.

Luck hereby wished. Just keep cool and enjoy it! Don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself. You have many years riding ahead of you, so if you fail, you can just learn and redo it, so dont add pressure on yourself that you HAVE to pass. Thumbs Up

Another little tip is make sure you don't rush into any part of it. I'd even ask the guy to repeat the instructions on a few occasions just to get a bit more time.

Good luck

Good luck

The best bit(s) of advice I was given by my instructor was about the emergency stop..... it's more of a quick slow down, as long as you don't get to close to the cones near the fence... take as much space as you need with the figure 8 and slalom.... and use clutch and revs for slow maneuvers

Nice, one foot in the door! Next bit is just a ride out with someone following you. It will be over surprisingly quick.

Bike bought or lined up, or just getting this out the way first?

Thanks all the comments are much appreciated!

A was going to have a bike lined up, but after some research and advice I've decided to get this out the road first, thinking along the lines of a cbr 600f, just not quite sure to go with an earlier model or the 2011-2013 Confused

Where I'm doing my trading they have a 2012 600f in stock they said I can have a road ride once I pass if it's still available so let's see.

Thanks,

Kaz

Thanks,

Do make sure you're properly insured and whatnot. 2nd hand bikes need trade plates so they don't have to be taxed to be on
the road. If they don't have one to go on the bike, then I certainly wouldn't ride it as their insurance provision is most
likely lacking too. Also, be careful what you sign with regard to a pre test ride agreement.
