Of 1 side of the bank) wasnt sealing 100% , so I've flipped them over . Seem a bit better, But can't see this being the cause ?
I've also just looked at the price of starter motors
There like £100 plus ! |
Hi,
I have found, the once the thin, brittle reeds get damaged, it'll never run right again.
Replace with a decent c/f set. No need to go all big brand expensive (like v3 or v-force or whatever they're called) I went with the ones Alain (bcf resident nsr guru) recommended, on both my jc22's.
starter motor is common weak point (along with most of the electrics tbf) but they can be refurbished.....but depends on what condition it's in.....open it up (starter motor) & have a look?
Won't do any harm, especially if you've prepared yourself for coughing up 130 quid they cost to replace.
Sorry, not actually helping much am I?.......al get ma coat.....
cheers,

Just for future reference... these bikes bump so easily you wouldn't believe.
My starter crapped out on me and I just bumped it for about a year .
Got it down to two steps and Bosh ring'a ding ding ding (sounds nothing like an NSR I know...) |
