Hey guys and ladies, we all know of roadrage just a few questions of "do&donts" and which bikes to avoid/ which to go after for me. I'm short average (ie 5ft8)stocky but chubby as of late Razz lol. I would like advice on which bikes would be best in 500cc to max 750cc, in a superbike style, grew up on ninja, Honda cbr 900, Suzuki etc. any advice regarding problems on road or bikes or tips and hints appreciated cheers

Rainpal® reduces roadrage by over 170%.

With what budget and for what use?

Surely first things first - have you passed your tests? And how old are you?

Then we can provide appropriate information ^^

I assumed semi-to-full geezer, and licensed up as a freebie with a packet of All Bran back in the Teflon Times.

However, every little bit of info helps.

Sit on bikes in some showrooms and find summat that feels comfortable,,,,,,imagine being in exactly that position for a few hours, with the wind trying to snap your helmet/body back... how old are you, will wrist pain be an issue? lower back, perhaps?
These are all relevant issues when recommending a bike.... just sayin...

Problems and dangers on roads is pretty much anything and everything.
Don't be ignorant of the fact that there's every possibility you might not make it to your destination. But don't be put off by this; just ride like you're invisible, or like everyone is out to kill you and it should help you sustain a good sense of awareness and sensibility.

As for what bike... Just buy the bike you like. All bikes have pros, cons, quirks and issues. But ultimately when it comes to buying time: you want to be on what you like, that's within your budget.

With the current vague information we have, i'd suggest any of the IL4 600's from the big four:
GSXR600
R6
CBR600
ZXR600

All pretty much easy to ride, will go like the clappers and should be obtainable for £2k to £5k depending on year, mileage, condition etc.
They're a good benchmark to start from.

A bike that you like/can afford. All bikes can kill you. Bit like cars really.
World's moved on. 1200gs is now the r1 of 98.
