Brought a power commander set 3 for my bike second hand trouble is there's no 9v adaptor

Is there a way to load a map without one failing that is there a way of attaching a 9v battery temporarily

Thanks

As long as its powered on the bike you can attach to the mini usb. You only need the 9v adapter to power it without the bike. Like when you brick it and have to re-flash, which I NEVER did. Embarassed

EDIT: But, if you have bought for your bike and not sure how to get this far, I really would seek proper advice. I had two bikes pre-installed, I wouldn't consider doing it myself.

Dynojet have an Android app that lets you load maps while on the bike.

That is so long as you've brought a suitable usb-otg cable...

Thanks managed to get it working and mapped

Bike was running fine then after a min or 2 starts playing up

At first it was running weak on one cylinder so clouds of white smoke

Messed with it redid all connectors. Got it running well again

Then moving the box it starts playing up again

Guy I brought it off said it was fine when he rode the bike it was off

Any ideas

Well I think insulting somebody because they used the wrong word in the wrong context is a little sad. Especially so when done from under a veil of online anonymity.

Anyway, whatever floats your boat Rolling Eyes

mocking someone for using the wrong word is just playful banter.
(you cant use the wrong word in the wrong context.its either the wrong word or the wrong context)
however if you then go on to use the wrong word again in the same thread after being corrected.
i think its fair to call you out for being retarded.

eg.
when cold starting i use the cock.
i operate the cock control then operate the starter.
when the engine is warm i dont need the cock.
sometimes it only needs a little cock to get it going.
sometimes it needs a lot of cock.

the correct word would have been choke.

use the correct word and nobody thinks you're a choke Smile

Thank you all for being so helpful I was only asking in case it's a known problem with these units

The setup I have. A power commander is the only ideal setup (if I get it to work)
