It's a naked version of CBR150R, has DOHC head, and nice design.
I hope they make 125version of this.

------
edit(correction)
It had a different motor from CBR150Rone!
CBR150R : bore × stroke : 63.5 mm × 47.2 mm
CB150R : bore × stroke : 57.3 mm ×57.8mm
So CB150R has more "square" one.
If they make shorter stroke 125cc version from this 150cc, it will be like 57.3mm × 48.5mm. This will have longer stroke than GSX-S125(62.0 mm × 41.2 mm).
------
edit(correction)-2
CBR150R 2014–2016 (K45):63.5 mm × 47.2 mm
CBR150R 2016–present (K45G):57.3 mm ×57.8mm
So New CBR150R and CB150R have same "square" engine.

150's, 175's and 200's haven't sold well in the UK for decades and won't now suddenly do so either!
On topic, it looks an ok bike, a bit MT03 and MT 125 looking, perhaps too much so, but no-one will care. For it to do Honda some good, it'd need to be a 15bhp 125, and be better built and more robust than the best Yamaha's etc.
Price won't be as important as quality, reputation and reliability down the track a few years. If you can make a 125 that really has it all and seems to be built to last and take a ton of abuse, then assuming the spec and styling are good, you'll be able to ask £4500 for it. (Crazy concept but it works).
In some European countries that make their own 125's, some cost and sell for alot more. They are in demand and the 16/17year old owner aspires to the best there is and a fair few can find the cash to get one.
Oh and wrong again, about a 250 would sell well here. Course it won't, as they arnt legislated to sell well like 125's etc. All the UK market 250's/300's have been pulled now haven't they?
If you want to make money for a motorcycle company here, you need your peds and scooters in every niche, some pinnacle 125's for road and dirt, and a bloody good Fireblade and big adventure bike. If you get all that right you can then see about lashing up a cheap basic 500-800cc bike with some flash graphics and gizmos, and then mop up what's left on the floor with them.
We don't buy interesting, small bikes that handle like razor blades, or novelty mid size bikes here. The UK bike buying population wants more cc's, weight and power in new models, a few more rider modes, connectivity, buttons to press and a couple of extra USB sockets etc. |

Visor down readers may already have known this, Honda revealed CB125R, CB300R, and CB1000R.
I'm a bit disappointed that 125 has SOHC again.
150 DOHC: 16.8bhp/125kg(ABS),123kg(wo ABS)
125 SOHC: 13.1bhp/126kg(ABS)
and 125 is heavier than 150. ____________________ 2020 Touring Serow 250

Kerb weight for the 300R: 143kg... so what's that the actual weight then? Looks interesting although that's one fugly exhaust. |

Still better than the MT-03, you had to fully remove the tank to get the battery out |
