Quote:
The force said it was not terror-related.
David Ellison told BBC Radio Bristol he saw officers fire between six and 10 shots through the passenger window using handguns.
"They surrounded it. They shot maybe five, six or ten times," he said.
"Then they dragged a man from the car to resuscitate him

air ambulance is at the scene along with Great Western Ambulance's critical care team..

Chopper: Why would I shoot a bloke BANG, then drive him to the bloody car and wizz him off to the hospital at a hundred miles an hour? It defeats the purpose of having shot him in the first place.

There's a big ol' 5-0 training centre at Portishead. Seems an odd vehicle for a drug dealer. I'm saying Rogue.

I believe they've still got a duty of care to try and save someones life even after shooting that person.

Not a Merc = probably a mental rather than a Diversity.

I'm prepared to be surprised though.

Too many gangsta callibers about.

I am reliably informed by an ex Zimbabwean colleague that a 9mm won't go through a luxury car door. Go .45" or get dead in a ditch.

Also of critical importance (according to him) that you keep it in the door pocket, not the glove box so they don't see you reach for it.

Most likely not, we don't like their kind round 'ere. Razz Sounds exactly like a (smart) drug dealers car to me. Ordinary and
unremarkable. Perfect. I usually go to pick up my ganja in a white van for the same reason. Nice and anonymous. I leave
the black car with tinted windows, private plate and twin exhausts at home. Although to be fair, most of the time my
naughty stuff is usually delivered.

My bad, but he died later, not straight away.

That's not many, maybe 2 or 3 rounds per man. Problem with shooting someone in a car is (at least) half of them is obscured from view, you need to be sure the fucker is down and not about to either drive off or shoot back at you.

Laughing BBC news: a non-police firearm was found at the scene.
Makes it sound like they counted up all the guns afterwards and then realised they had too many. Hang on a minute, this ones not ours.

It is possible to survive that at pointblank range. When I was living in Houston TX US of A there was an incident where the local Dibble pulled a guy over who then produced a gun and sat at the side of the road pointing the gun at his own head. Que stand-off. After a while the officers opened fire at the guy from a few feet away. One officer emptied his revolver and the other officer three shots, all of which hit the guy in the body. The guy actually survived this and claimed he had not moved to open fire on the police as they had claimed as reason for opening fire. Being 'Murica the whole thing was filmed from several angles by several news teams and slow-mo play back proved the officers had bullshitted as clearly the guys gun did not move at all from pointing at his own head until after the officers bullets started slamming into his chest.

Of course the guy may simply have been one tough bastud to survice nine 0.38 rounds in the chest at point blank range but most likely just very lucky. Still was bloody impressive telly!

I thought this was just common sense. Or it sits under your leg.

That'll be a realistic imitation firearm, marksmen my words. I predict some sabre rattling about bringing the hammer down on sales.
