Dog Fleas

Dog has bloody fleas. He is 18 months old and usually keeps himself very clean, but the last 4 weeks he has fleas. We have used flea stuff on him and cleared him completely, but as soon as he goes out in the garden he is covered in them. We clear them off again, then in the garden and they are back again. I can't see any other animals in the garden, but he still keeps getting the buggers.

Any useful ideas?

Flea collar
Oral flea medicine
Mow the lawn? / trim the bushes / whatever is out there?
Block any entrances to your garden you can find to stop whatever is bringing them in..

1stly I would check whether you current de-fleaing method is working though. It may be that you are not getting rid of them at all and he simply comes back in with the same fleas / flea eggs that then hatched.

What de-fleaing method are you using?
